    • Amazon FBA Support

Amazon handed prep work back to sellers, and the consequences of getting it wrong land on you rather than on them. A carton that arrives wrong gets refused, refused stock sits somewhere earning nothing, and a launch date moves.

      Amazon FBM Support

FBM keeps the things worth keeping. Your packaging, customer data & margin. It also puts Amazon’s performance metrics directly on your dispatch times, which is a comfortable trade at home and a much harder one from four thousand miles away.

      Direct-to-Consumer Fulfilment

On a marketplace, a slow delivery is the marketplace’s fault. On your own store it is yours. The box that arrives, the day it arrives and how easy it is to send back are all part of what someone bought, and they decide whether a first order becomes a second one.

      Returns, Reworks & Recycling

Treated as a cost, a return is written off twice, once on the refund and again on the unit. Treated as inventory, a lot of it goes back on sale. What decides which of those happens is how quickly the unit gets looked at and how far it had to travel to be looked at.

      Warehouse Location

Stock held inside the market it sells into arrives as a domestic delivery. No customs event on the order, and nothing for your customer to settle before the courier hands the parcel over. Ours sits in the UK, the Netherlands and the US, which covers...

Expandly Events · Two-Day Expansion Workshops

Two days in the room, and you leave with a plan

Expandly Events are small-group, in-person workshops held in major cities through the year. You work directly with Andy Hooper and the Expandly team to build your European expansion plan across the full Global Expansion Pathway™, market by market, over two working days. Events are for Expandly clients. Every new client is invited, with attendance included on Guided and VIP.

What These Events Are

Not a conference, and not a webinar with a room booked. Working time

Most expansion decisions stall in the same place. Not for want of information, but because nobody has sat down and put the decisions in order. Which market first, and on what evidence. What has to be registered before anything can be listed. Where the stock needs to sit for delivery promises to hold. Each answer depends on the others, which is why they rarely get resolved over email.

An Expandly Event puts you in a room with the people who do this for a living and works the sequence through with you. The group is deliberately small so every session can respond to the businesses actually present. Questions that take weeks of back and forth in writing get settled in an afternoon.

You arrive with a business and a target market. You leave with a 90-day plan, a briefed success manager, and a clear view of what happens next.

How the two days run

The format is the same at every event, in every city. Day one works the pathway. Day two turns it into your plan. Specialist clinics run alongside both.

Day One

The pathway, worked in sequence

The stages covered in the order they have to happen, with the room’s own businesses used as the working examples.

Day Two

Your plan, built and briefed before you leave

A working session rather than a presentation. Everyone in the room builds their own 90-day plan and walks out with it documented.

Both Days

Specialist clinics, one to one

Thirty-minute sessions with the specialists who handle this work daily. Book on arrival, included for every attendee.

Before And After

The event isn't the whole of it

Preparation materials go out in advance so the two days are spent working rather than briefing.

Self-Serve clients get the same materials, the same clinics and the same plan as everyone else in the room.

Who's in the room

Events are for Expandly clients. Every new client is invited, and most attendees are at one of three stages, so the sessions adapt to whoever is in the room.

Stage 01

Currently onboarding

The event settles your strategy before you go live, and gives your success manager a brief to work from immediately.

Stage 02

Set up, not yet shipping

The infrastructure exists. Two days with the full team is usually enough to clear whatever sits between you and a first European order.

Stage 03

Recently launched

You have early traction in one market. This is where you build the plan that turns a working launch into genuine European scale.

Who leads it

Andy Hooper delivers every event in full. Specialists join for the clinic sessions on both days.

Andy Hooper, Founder

Created the Global Expansion Pathway™ over 17 years of taking brands into European markets. Leads the full two-day programme personally, covering market selection, strategy and the discipline of building a plan that actually gets implemented.

Dylan Hooper, Integrations Officer

Handles the practical side of going live: getting your stock into the warehouse and your accounts configured for trading on each marketplace. The questions that usually surface on day two, when a plan meets the mechanics of actually executing it.

Compliance specialists

VAT, EPR, labelling and Responsible Person questions answered by the people who file them, rather than by someone relaying an answer back to you later.

Logistics specialists

Stock positioning, carrier choice and returns handling, drawn from running the fulfilment network the plans depend on.

Global Expansion Pathway™

Two days that cover the whole pathway

The event isn’t a module bolted onto the process. It’s the pathway itself, worked through in person with your business as the example. Day one moves through the stages in order. Day two lands on Strategy, which is where the sequencing decisions get made and the plan is written.

How This Fits The Service

The event is where strategy stops being a discussion and becomes a sequence

Attending isn’t the starting point. Before the event, the practical work is already underway: registrations, compliance filings, marketplace accounts, the fulfilment setup. After it, your success manager works to the plan you built. The event is the moment the decisions you’ve been circling get put in an order your team can act on.

That’s also why it’s an in-person format rather than a call. Two days with the right people in one room produces decisions. A sequence of video calls produces notes.

You leave with a plan, a briefed success manager, and a date for the first check-in.

What Surrounds The Event

The two days sit inside the wider service, not alongside it:

Compliance & Tax

VAT registration, labelling, EPR and the Responsible Person service, handled before anything goes live in a new market.

The Expandly Platform

The guided onboarding and portal where the documents live, and the system that runs the trading afterwards.

Expandly 3PL

The Netherlands and UK fulfilment network your stock positioning decisions actually rest on.

Plans & Pricing

Where event attendance sits within each level of support.

Register your interest

Dates and cities are confirmed around six weeks ahead. Registered brands hear first and get access to places before an event is promoted publicly.

Next Event

Places are limited, and previous events have filled well ahead of the date

Add your details and we’ll be in touch as soon as the next date and city are set. If you’re already working with us, your success manager can register you directly. Registered brands are also invited to the webinar that runs ahead of each event, which is a shorter way to see the pathway before committing two days to it.

Attendance is included for Guided and VIP clients, who can register through their success manager. Self-Serve clients are invited to every event and book a place directly. We’ll confirm availability and the fee when we contact you.

What brands ask before registering

Who can attend?

Expandly clients. Every new client is invited, and clients already trading in Europe are welcome at any event. Attendance is included on Guided and VIP. Self-Serve clients book a place directly.

Where do the events take place?

Major cities, rotating through the year. The city is confirmed around six weeks ahead and registered brands are told first. If you’d like to flag your city as a preference, note it when you register.

How many people can come from one company?

Up to three from the same brand on a single booking. Bringing more than one person is worth doing. The second day builds a plan, and plans are easier to execute when the people who have to execute them helped write it.

What stage should we be at?

There’s no minimum. Clients in onboarding, clients set up but not yet shipping, and clients already trading in a market have all attended. The clinic slots adapt to your situation and the second day produces a plan that starts from wherever you actually are.

We're already selling in Europe. Is it still useful?

Yes, and a good proportion of attendees are in exactly that position. Trading in one market and planning the next is a different problem from a first launch, and the second day works as a planning session either way. If your current setup was built market by market rather than designed for scale, that’s worth two days on its own.

What if we can't make the next one?

Register anyway and we’ll put you on the priority list for the following event. There’s usually another within a few months.

Is there preparation to do beforehand?

Nothing mandatory. Materials go out in advance to help you get more from both days. Knowing your current trading volume and which markets you’re considering helps, but it isn’t a prerequisite.

What happens afterwards?

Your plan goes to your success manager and check-ins are scheduled to review progress and adjust the sequencing. On Guided and VIP that’s part of the ongoing relationship. On Self-Serve the check-in is a scheduled review of the plan you built.

Build your European expansion plan in two days

Register your interest and we’ll contact you as soon as the next date and city are confirmed.

Event content is general guidance and reflects requirements as they stand at the time of the event. Compliance obligations, marketplace policies and carrier coverage change and vary by market, so plans built during the event are reviewed with your success manager before implementation.
