EU-Compliant Cosmetics in the UK – Key Divergences Beauty Brands Must Bridge Before Entering Both Markets
EU and UK cosmetics regulations started from the same framework after Brexit but are diverging. An EU Responsible Person and CPNP notification do not grant UK access, which needs a UK-based Responsible Person, UKCP notification and different labels. The fragrance allergen list may split from July 2026, requiring separate label versions for each market.
